Musical range
Country, outlaw country, and blues — guitar and vocal music built for rooms where people are actually listening, or at least supposed to be having a good time.
The country side covers classic, 90s, and modern country, plus outlaw country with some grit. The blues side is guitar-driven: blues and blues rock, the kind of playing that still works on one acoustic when the room calls for it. Americana sits in the middle — songs that hold up with a guitar, a voice, and a live audience.

The player
Roger Avery Jr. is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He spent eleven years in Nashville, from 2001 to 2012 — living at the end of Music Row and working Lower Broadway as a full-time job for years, inside that music family.
He toured the country with Kalamity Jane for a number of years, and spent those Nashville years playing with some of the best songwriters in town. That work still shapes how he plays: strong songs, a guitar that serves the room, and a delivery built for live audiences.
His playing comes out of country, outlaw country, blues, and guitar-driven American roots music. He now performs solo acoustic material and is available for live bookings in New Hampshire, Maine, and throughout New England.
Availability
Available for restaurants, breweries, bars, wineries, listening rooms, private events, and festivals — solo acoustic, and guitar or band work when the gig calls for it.
